Firm History and Philosophy

Nesci-Keane, PLLC, is an outgrowth of Nesci Keane Piekarski Keogh & Corrigan, Esqs., which was
founded in 1996 by the merger of two of Westchester County's finer defense firms: Keogh, Keogh
& Corrigan, with a forty-two year history of defense litigation, and Nesci, Keane Piekarski, Esqs.,
whose firm was a product of fifteen years of legal work for Liberty Lines, one of the largest
privately-owned transportation companies in New York State.

Staffed with experienced trial attorneys, Nesci-Keane, PLLC, handles all phases of discovery,
and trial in both State and Federal Courts. The firm handles matters in New York County, Bronx
County, Kings and Queens Counties as well as the 9th District (Westchester, Orange, Rockland,
Dutchess and Putnam). The firm also services Sullivan and Ulster Counties.

The firm has a strong background in the defense of negligence cases including motor vehicle,
premises, property, underinsured and uninsured claims, no-fault claims, labor law cases,
homeowner and commercial business claims as well as coverage issues. Our attorneys are
supported in their efforts by a staff of paralegals, nurse paralegals, legal secretaries and
medical and subrogation specialists.

Nesci-Keane, PLLC, prides itself on its use of state of the art technology to augment its legal
expertise. The firm makes extensive use of computer-assisted legal research, computerized case
management, computerized deposition transcripts, as well as medical records and scanner
technology.

Commitment to Technology
|
Nesci-Keane, PLLC, employs a wide array of litigation support tools to meet the needs of
our clients. These tools include a computerized database of all prior research and legal
memoranda including over 90,000 entries of individuals, attorneys and medical providers,
(linking all three with past claims) and our central computerized case management system is
available to our attorneys both on and off-site.

Our case management system allows an attorney to render reports to a client in virtually
any report format desired, via any method desired. General law and case-specific updates are
available to clients at www.nesci-keane.com. The site will ultimately include an intranet
both interactive and static page which will allow our clients direct, secure access to
developments in their casework.

improve client services by increasing lawyer productivity, linking clients and counsel,
